Charisma could be defined as the ability to inspire, a divine gift, or simply you at your best. There is vast pressure on us in the twenty first century to perform and deliver at work. As well as having the technical expertise in our field, we are expected to demonstrate distinctive personal qualities such as initiative, empathy and enthusiasm – in short – Charisma.
A vast variety of research shows that getting hired and promoted is much more about behaviour and attitude than delivering tasks. It’s not what you do it’s how you do it!
